This fabric is a splendidly detailed pattern woven to perfection with the self indulgent feel reminiscent of black raspberry ice-cream. Beautifully light, this fabric is an almost pastel in shade lavender.
Woven to perfection, with a sophistication hard to attain with any other fabric. The exotic paisley pattern is woven into the fabric, this gives the material a depth and distinction that can't be rivaled by any printed lining.
The smooth and flowing hand that, when used as a lining, allows the garment to lay against the body without static and slide without resistance is excellent for lining skirts, dresses and handbags. This fabric could also be used for light upholstery or drapery.
The fabric measures 58 inches (147.32 cm) wide with a one inch (2.54 cm) selvage and a 4 inch (10.16 cm) repeat. The composition is 57% polyester, 43% viscose.
There is a slight sheen to the fabric which the camera does not accurately portray. When caught in the light, there is a delicate lavender that catches the paisley.
The pattern is jacquard, it is woven into the fabric and not printed.
This fabric is machine washable or can be dry-cleaned and should be pressed with a medium temperature iron.
